The Most Stylish Masterclass Returns to Korea – Let’s Meet Again in Busan!

After the success of the first Pork in Style masterclass held in Le Cordon Bleu-Sookmyung Academy in Seoul last June, European Pork is coming back to Korea to give future chefs a taste of what premium quality pork and exclusive charcuterie can bring to the Korean kitchen!

📅 Date: October 31, 2025

📍 Location: Youngsan University Culinary School, Busan

Pork in Style Masterclass – Busan Edition

On October 31st, 2025, the kitchens of Youngsan University Culinary School will welcome 40 culinary students for the second edition of the “Pork in Style” Masterclass in Korea.

Led by Michelin-starred Busan chef Jaehoon Kim, the session will introduce participants to the distinctive qualities of European pork—from its diverse flavour profiles to the strict standards that ensure its quality, traceability, and sustainability.

After a deep dive into the European Pork. Pork in Style campaign and the EU’s production systems, students will roll up their sleeves to prepare a selection of dishes and charcuterie featuring premium European pork. The hands-on experience will take them through a variety of cuts, techniques, and presentations, offering a true taste of working with world-class ingredients—and a star chef!

The masterclass is part of the broader “European Pork. Pork in Style” campaign, co-funded by the European Union and organized by FILPORC and INAPORC. Running in South Korea and Singapore from 2025 to 2027, the initiative aims to highlight the craftsmanship, quality, and versatility of European pork.
