This fall, “European Pork. Pork in Style” invites Korea’s leading food industry professionals on a flavour journey across Europe’s finest pork and charcuterie. At an exclusive tasting event designed especially for industry insiders, participants will explore the exceptional quality of European pork products, now making their way to the South Korean market.
It All Starts with Taste
The journey is, of course, about the taste. A gourmet degustation will showcase premium European pork through elegant dishes and charcuterie selections: from varied notes of cold cuts and sausages to the bold yet balanced flavours of European pork cuts, each bite delivers on both flavour and quality.
But this experience extends beyond the plate. The event will also be an opportunity for the Korean industry to gain insight into the meticulous standards behind European pork production. The presenters will share the information on European standards in sustainable farming, rigorous environmental regulations, and animal welfare protocols—cornerstones that ensure the safety, traceability, and quality that European pork is known for worldwide.
This tasting forms part of the broader “European Pork. Pork in Style” campaign, co-funded by the European Union and organized by FILPORC and INAPORC. Running from 2025 to 2027 in South Korea and Singapore, the campaign aims to introduce and promote European pork from France and Portugal through a variety of initiatives—from trade shows and professional tastings to culinary workshops, study trips, and retail collaborations.
As European pork takes its place on Korean tables and menus, this initiative marks the beginning of a deeper exchange among vibrant culinary worlds—connected by quality, taste, and style.
