PorkInStyle at Le Cordon Bleu Seoul, the perfect collab for a trendy culinary class!
The PorkInStyle campaign keeps bringing flavour to Seoul! This time hand in hand with the crème de la crème culinary academy: Le Cordon Bleu-Sookmyung Academy.
On June 27th, 40 lucky students (the rising chef stars) had the opportunity to attend the first PorkInStylemasterclass in Seoul, where they got to know more about the quality, versatility and unique characteristics of European Pork.
And that’s not all! They also learned all that from a famous chef, owner of two of the popular and high-end French style restaurants in Seoul! With direct instructions from the chef, the students were taught how to prepare a crispy and marinated to perfectionCroustillant de Poitrine de Porc, a tender and utterly delicious Braised Pork Medallion and, last but not least, a dazzling and flavour packed Charcuterie Platter, including various types of dry sausages, pates, rillettes and hams.
It’s not only about cooking!
Of course, after all the effort and knowledge acquired, the aroma of the perfectly cooked European Pork dishes and the exquisite visuals of the charcuterie platter worked up everyone’s appetite.
Thus, all the students had the chance to not only prepare but also taste the delicious and tender European Pork dishes and the flavorful charcuterie, discovering firsthand how well European Pork can be incorporated into Korean cuisine and fit the Korean palate.
The trend on European Pork
The PorkInStyle masterclass offered a unique opportunity to understand the production process of European pork, exploring the techniques and regulations that ensure the highest quality, safety, and sustainability of these products. The students learned how these elements work together to create meat that is not only delicious but also safe and responsibly produced, meeting the expectations of today’s conscious consumers.
Throughout the masterclass, students worked with European pork cuts and charcuterie from France and Portugal: this hands-on experience allowed them to explore the richness of European pork through and through—taste, texture, and aroma—truly highlighting the uniqueness of these premium products.
